About Centex Flight Training
Centex Flight Training was started with the philosophy that learning is a personal experience and is done best on a personal level, from professional instructors with the clients’ goals in mind. Flight training is based on proficiency, not on time or credit. This means that regardless of how much time is spent doing the training, it’s the end result, or proficiency, that matters. Having an instructor that is not only experienced but shares the same desire of seeing you complete the training and be the best pilot you can be is critically important.
Some flight schools hire instructors that are there simply to build time and move on to the next job. This puts the client’s objective at odds with the instructor’s. Not only will this result in more expense to the client, but poor training, as well. Flight training is best done when both the client and student have the same objective.
At Centex Flight Training, we only work with professional, experienced, well-trained pilots and instructors. We avoid what the industry calls “time builders.” Each of our independent instructors works one-on-one with the client for the client’s goals, not the instructor’s. Each of our instructors has been at the Georgetown airport for many years and are well known in the aviation community; two instructors currently serve on the FAA Safety Team.
We also do not rush through the training for the sake of saving time. We take training pilots seriously and work hard to make sure each client walks away better trained and better prepared for the type of flying they wish to do.
There are many choices in flight training. At Centex Flight Training, each of our instructors offers years of real-world flying experiences including years of pilot training. We believe this makes a valuable difference; we think you will agree.
